The C.O.M.B.O. Well is the main part of the C.O.M.B.O. Button. Paired with the Ring, it holds everything together in a C.O.M.B.O. Button.
The C.O.M.B.O. Well is designed to shorten the total travel of the button. Typically, it is the bottoming out of the microswitch that determines the total travel of the button. But the Well is designed so the Plunger hits the bottom of the Well before the microswitch fully bottoms out. What this does is shorten a full press from around 3.2mm to 2mm. Additionally, since the Well is preventing the microswitch’s total travel, it lowers the wear and tear, and potentially increases the microswitch's lifespan.

Wells are also only compatible with their size counterparts:
- 24mm Rings, Caps, and Plungers only fit on 24mm Wells.
- 30mm Rings, Caps, and Plungers only fit on 30mm Wells.
