Hit Box x Northeast Championships 19

We are absolutely excited to announce that we are partnering up with Northeast Championships this year!

As one of the long-standing grassroots tournaments in the FGC, NEC has made a reputation for itself as an extremely competitive end-of-year tournament. Located in King of Prussia, Philadelphia, this is a can't-miss event for multiple reasons. It will be playing host to one of the first Super Smash Bros. Ultimate major tournaments in the country, as well as continue its reign as one of, if not the most stacked tournament for Soul Calibur.

With talent from multiple states and international countries expected to come in to the event, it should make for a tournament that will be remembered, and a great way to cap off 2018.

Here are some of our players that will be in attendance!

Sora

Since the release of Soul Calibur 6, Sora has been hard at work grinding away at the game and perfecting his play. An Ivy main since SC4, he joins the ranks of thousands of others as a challenger in this tournament, aiming to prove himself against the best of not just the US, but international talent as well.

Games Played: Soul Calibur 6, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3

Jayto

Jayto is one of the newest entrants to the Hit Box Army, and has since been making the climb for himself at local and regional tournaments. However, that might be the undersell of the year as he also got 17th in DBFZ at one of the biggest events this year: EVO. We're very excited to see how he does at NEC!

Games Played: Dragonball FighterZ, Soul Calibur 6
